Need help launching a venture?

  • Brand identity

  • Website launch

  • Google Business Profile

  • Welcome email automation

  • Print collateral

  • Launch support

These are the reason why Daniel Folkman approached Wordcraft. He wanted someone who would join him at the start of his journey, help clarify and articulate his message, and connect with his target market. Wordcraft helped formulate the brand identity and MVP assets for Mountainside Retreat at Sunnybrae. This included replacing an expensive website CMS with a more cost-effective, industry plug-n-play option. The website project was managed by Wordcraft in conjunction with independent contractors who contributed imagery. Copy writing, brand cohesion and tech functionality (including an automated welcome email series) are now live at mountainsideretreat.ca. Additionally, Wordcraft set up a Google Maps profile and created various real-world assets such as stickers and business cards to help leave a lasting impression. And speaking of things that last, Daniel continues to be a lifelong friend. Who says business and friendship don’t mix?

“I will absolutely continue [working with Eric] on future projects, and recommend him to anyone looking for a team player who can bring both strategic thinking and creative execution to their marketing.”
— Daniel Folkman, Co-Founder of Mountainside Retreat at Sunnybrae

What kinds of services does Wordcraft offer?

COPYWRITING & MESSAGING

Clear messaging is the foundation of good marketing. From websites and email campaigns to product launches and fundraising appeals, I help businesses find language that connects with the people they're trying to reach. Nitty and gritty and one word at a time.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Before e-commerce, I built live experiences. From escape rooms and brand activations to interactive customer journeys, I believe memorable experiences create stronger businesses than word-based marketing alone.

MARKETING STRATEGY

I've built realistic, actionable marketing plans for my own companies and for clients across hospitality, nonprofit, and consumer products. Whether it's a campaign, launch, or long-term roadmap, I focus on practical strategies that can actually be executed.

DIGITAL tools for real world GROWTH

Paid ads, email marketing, Shopify, websites, analytics, and customer journeys all work best when they're connected. I enjoy building systems that turn attention into action and measuring what actually moves the needle.

FRACTIONAL MARKETING LEADERSHIP

Most businesses don't want another freelancer—they need someone who can think like a marketing leader, be embedded in the team and care. I’ll help you prioritize, coordinate projects, and move teams forward without adding a full-time executive to the payroll.

THE ENTREPRENEUR'S PERSPECTIVE

I've launched products, pitched on Dragon's Den, launched Kickstarter campaigns, managed teams, and sold a business. That experience shapes how I approach every client—you’ll feel that difference, I promise.
